Read more Apparently, I was reincarnated as a nameless mob in a Japanese fantasy game.…and the genre of the game is a depressive game with eroticism and gore. Collapse Abandoned Children, Caring Protagonist, Cautious Protagonist, Depictions of Cruelty, Exorcism, Gore, Hard-Working Protagonist, Male Protagonist, Mob Protagonist, Obsessive Love, Onmyouji, Reincarnated in a Game World, Weak to Strong, Yandere, Youkai This novel has an info dump every chapter and may or may not inform the reader of some stupid ass background information about an item, character, or organization. It is good to inform the reader about the background info of anything going on in the novel, but this author is f#cking retarded... *cough*... ahem excuse my language. Essentially this author is so far up his ass in telling you about the intricacies and nuances of his world that he can't write a coherent narrative with interesting characters. The author is good at world-building but sucks ass at everything else. I have read this 6 or 7 time everytime I read two or three chapters more then beforeIt's like junk food Reading status - chapter 126This is pretty alright if you want to read some junk food. As the name suggests mc is reincarnated into a Japanese-style fantasy depressive game which is set in ancient Japan. The characters are pretty one-dimensional. The fight scenes are exciting as you're always engaged to see what happens next. The story feels also like a Shounen-esque type of one. The MC does get a power up in the future chapters at the end of epilogue 4 I think ? so it's evident that he wouldn't stay weak in the future as the story suggests in the beginning. And is worth a read. But tbh that's where the good qualities end. Apart from the somewhat coherent story and good fight scenes the story just feels tiring to read. There's no happiness or relaxation apart from 1 or 2 chapters you get before the start of a major arc. You would eventually just get tired and sick of it.The MC feels hollow. I can't connect with him or feels his emotions at the start. There's some what of detachment between the readers. Honestly this would've been rated better if it wasn't a harem or if the author just reduced the heroines to 4 to smth. It's difficult for me take the story seriously if its a harem. Go for it if you want. The way this book is written is so f#cking confusing. The author can't keep the same pov for a single f#cking chapter, and by the time you get any sort of grasp on the current scene, you get a 16 paragraph long info dump about the size, shape, texture and smell of the f#cking thing Infront of the main character. Who's pov we don't even see for 1/5th of the timeGod awful read and I really would not suggest it to anyone.1/10. Translated Jp dialogue sucks ass. I love that title I'm dropping this shit. The protagonist decided it was prudent to rescue a person who tried to kill him and is also a repeat child rapist who tried to rape a kid 30 minutes prior. Want to know his reasoning? He didn't want to scar a supporting character mentally or some shit. Guess what happened after? Got betrayed 20 secs later and nearly got him and the kid killed. If you want to defend this novel as being some good shit go ahead I won't stop you. The only way I'll read this again is if it's revealed he has some tampering with his mind and sanity. This is just brutal and exhausting to read, 30 odd chapters of this have left me tired.... There is no happiness, no reward or lightheartedness. It was worth the time I spent it's just that I can't handle anymore I figured I would try to give a better synopsis since people want one.Mc reincarnated into game that is set in medieval Japan with monsters and yokai roaming around. He becomes a servant(basically a disposable slave) and works for one of the main heroines(all the love intrest in the game are yanderes) and is just trying to stay alive. Appreciated Actual Medieval or Japanese “Medieval”? I'm not familiar with Japanese history but I'm like 90% its Japanese medieval Perhaps I should’ve asked if it was European or Japanese. I asked because the Medieval period was only in Europe and Japan has its own name for that societal period but Feudal should probably be the best term. Oh thanks I didn't know that can someone give me a quick summary considering the synopsis was useless Just read the novel name that still doesn't really tell me much Fire novel sad that there's no more chapters on this
